Right now Mayibuye is going through a very exciting growth phase; we have established multiple youth outreach programs in Australia and South Africa, and have just launched in Cambodia.

We are currently seeking support from individuals and organisations that will help our vision to create a new generation of young leaders become a reality.

Mayibuye comes from the Zulu word meaning ‘let it return’, the phrase evokes a simpler time when the destructive forces of alcohol, disease and violence were not prevalent in South African society. Mayibuye uses performing arts to ‘let it return’ as it allows people to express themselves through the universal language of dance and to rekindle the sense of community that has been lost over time.

Through your support we can spread this message and empowerment to young people who are most in need and feeling lost in an unforgiving world.

We seek to actively engage with our supporters so that they may become involved with our work if they wish. Your support can include a financial contribution, in kind support, donations for events and fundraisers, mentorship for volunteers or helping us to raise awareness within the community.
