Mayibuye is staffed by passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic individuals, who want to use their time and skills to help others. Mayibuye positions are all volunteer and require a commitment of between 5 - 20 hours a week. Training and mentoring will be provided as you grow into your role.

Operations Manager
The operations manager is responsible for a team in charge of finance, legal, administration and sponsorship. Ensure regulations are, branding is consistent and communication methods are efficient. They also build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders.
Sponsorship Coordinator
Develop our corporate sponsorship packages with integrated engagement opportunities. Identify and approach potential sponsors. Ensure sponsors are correctly acknowledged and strong relationships are built. Circulate reports and project updates regularly.
Legal Coordinator
Ensure the organisation and management understand and are following correct legal procedures and are meeting regulations. Work to gain further accreditation and status as Mayibuye’s grows into different geographical regions. Support volunteers to understand their roles, responsibilities and rights.
Design Coordinator
Use graphic design skills to create promotional brochures, posters and banners. Develop material that is consistent with our brand and represents the essence of our organisation.
Events Coordinator
Develop and implement the fundraising strategy through small and large scale events, consistently throughout the year. Seek promotional opportunities, and ensure quality in delivery and engagement through events. Train and coordinate other volunteers to assist during the events.
Intern Coordinator
Coordinate internships and student placements on the Australian team, along with Australians wanting to do placements at our international projects. Assist with selections, allocations, supervision and evaluation.
